Here, all terrain types are discussed, including movement costs for different movement types, as well as defensive ratings.

Movement penalties will reduce a unit's movement, but not below 1. If the unit cannot pass the terrain type it will say NO MOVEMENT.

Vision Penalty is how hard it is to see through this tile, while Vision Range is what kind of bonus your vision gets while standing on the tile.

Defense Bonus is a number that is subtracted from any incoming attacking units. Meaning, if a 15-Count melee unit is attacking and you are on a tile that gives 3 defense, you will only suffer 12 attacks.

WING movement type has +0 movement bonus on every tile, his sight is not blocked by any tiles (except for forest), and he gets no defense from any tiles.


Plains[edit]

The basic, most common tile.


Defense: 1

Foot: No Penalty

Hoof: No Penalty

Wheel: -1 Move

Vision Penalty: No Penalty

Vision Range: No Penalty

Bonus: None


Mountain[edit]

Special tile that gives ranged units more range, good defense. Also gives extra range to the vision of the tile who stands here. In exchange, enemy units can see hill tiles from farther away than normal.


Defense: +5

Foot: -1 Move

Hoof: -3 Move

Wheel: NO MOVEMENT

Vision Penalty: -1

Vision Range: +1 Sight

Rough[edit]

A slightly harder to move through Plain.

Defense: +2

Foot: -1 Move

Hoof: -2 Move

Wheel: -3 Move

Vision Penalty: -2 Sight

Vision Range: -1 Sight

Bonus: Some foot units don't take the movement penalty, like archers.


Forest[edit]

These tiles are great for ambushes as you cannot see into them when you're outside them, and they offer great defense.

Defense: +5

Foot: -2 Move

Hoof: -2 Move

Wheel: -2 Move

Vision Penalty: Only One Tile (See Bonus)

Vision Range: -2 Sight

Bonus: *You can only see an enemy unit inside a forest if you end your turn ADJACENT TO the forest.


Road[edit]

These are just like Plain except super quick to move on, even for Wheel. They are destructible by Siege attacks.


Defense: 0

Foot: NO Penalty

Hoof: NO Penalty

Wheel: NO Penalty

Vision Penalty: +2 Sight

Vision Range: +0 Sight

Bonus:


Fort[edit]

These buildings heal the unit occupying it each turn, except for AIR units.

Defense: +10

Foot: No Penalty

Hoof: No Penalty

Wheel: No Penalty

Vision Penalty: -2 Sight

Vision Range: +1 Sight

Bonus: Very special tile. See Forts


River[edit]

Defense: +0

Foot: -3 Move

Hoof: -2 Move

Wheel: NO MOVEMENT

Vision Penalty: +0 Sight

Vision Range: +0 Sight

Bonus: # of attacks is halved while you are on a river tile.


Water[edit]

Totally impassable, except by AIR.
